The spread! From left to right going clockwise: Duck rillette with cornichons, sliced french baguette, honey, fig jam, grapes, salami made with black truffles, cheese plate with pomegranate-hazelnut crisps
Ever since coming back from our honeymoon in Italy and France, my husband and I have been obsessed with cheese and charcuterie spreads.
The cheese plate- From left to right: Garlic and herb cheese spread, Aged gouda, Goat cheese (with a blue cheese preparation-AMAZING), Gruyere with peppercorns, soft brie-like cheese (can’t remember the name)
We like it so much that we often make a meal out of it. And that was exactly what we did last Friday.
Duck rillette with chopped cornichons
I love snacking so this is one of my favorite types of meals.
Casey likes to make what he calls “perfect bites”. The following three photos showcase some of these.
Pomegranate-hazelnut crisp, fig jam, goat cheese
Baguette slice, gruyere, honey, fig jam
Baguette slice, rillette, cornichons
My mouth is watering. I’m thinking we will have to have another cheese and charcuterie night sometime again real soon…
